Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is comprised of one-on-one sessions in which the therapist and the client work to find resolution to the concerns being brought forward by the client. These sessions typically last 50 minutes and occur weekly or biweekly.

Couple’s Counseling

Couple’s counseling is comprised of both partners attending weekly 50 minute sessions, however longer sessions may be scheduled if necessary. Typically, couples will meet with the therapist together initially, and then each partner will have at least one individual session to discuss relationship concerns, then we will return to meeting together. One or both partners may be encouraged to attend their own individual therapy.

Family Counseling

Family counseling is comprised of all members of the family attending weekly 90 minute sessions. The counselor incorporates the concerns of each family member equally as we move toward resolving the issues that are feeding the conflict. The counselor may meet with each family member individually as part of the initial assessment process. Some family members may wish to receive individual counseling to address issues that require more concentrated attention.
