Individual counseling is comprised of one-on-one sessions in which the therapist and the client work to find resolution to the concerns being brought forward by the client. These sessions typically last one hour and occur weekly or biweekly.
Couple’s counseling is comprised of both partners attending weekly sessions that generally last 90 minutes, but may be reduced to one hour sessions as the situation progresses. Additionally, each partner may wish to attend separate, individual sessions to address personal issues that are affecting the relationship.
Family counseling is comprised of all members of the family attending weekly 90 minute sessions. The counselor incorporates the concerns of each family member equally as we move toward resolving the issues that are feeding the conflict. Some family members may wish to receive individual counseling to address issues that require more concentrated attention.
